A story of making being productive feel natural

You and I might have a lot in common.

In high school and university, I had the craziest time struggling staying focused. I couldn’t resist the temptation of looking at instagram, tiktok, browse reddit, facebook and any social media website I was signed up to.

All my studying and tasks would be left to the last minute. I’d then rush, get things done quickly, and not get the result I wanted.

After barely graduating, I thought things would be different at my job. It’d be more flexible, less stress, take my time to get all my stuff done.

I was so wrong.

The same distractions that were present while studying, ended up being even stronger at my job.

I’d almost be thinking my tasks would get done by themselves magically. I’d leave work, leaving everything to the next day…

I guess you know what happens next… My tasks are barely done, then half-completed, feeling awkward and nervous that I didn’t do what I was supposed to do.

I couldn’t find any solution that could help me eliminate distractions, and manage all the thoughts that come across my mind. 

The main problems I wanted to resolve were writing down my tasks instead of thinking I’d remember them, find some way to block myself from accessing websites that would have me distracted, and take notes.

So I slowly built myself a little tool that I started using every day.

I asked some family members and friends to test the app out. They all have their little problems that they dealt with, that the tool could help out: ADHD, not remembering tasks they thought they would, mapping out their thoughts, etc.

So I slowly started adding more and more tools that would respond to all types of needs…
